Case Study

For any company, improving productivity and efficiency is of paramount importance. Lighting, designed correctly, can be a major contributor to the improvement.

This office meeting room, located at our HQ in Warrington, has recently undergone a lighting upgrade. We have made huge strides to improve operational efficiency and employee productivity and we understand how fundamental lighting is to achieving that.

By upgrading the meeting room lighting and installing the Volo, the space and building not only benefited from the latest energy-saving LED technology, but we could also utilise the great features such as the dual direct/indirect output which has a clear positive impact on employee performance.

Volo, introduced with our latest catalogue, S15, is an architectural LED recessed modular suitable for education, commercial and healthcare applications.

Coming with a five-year warranty and an array of wattages and options such as Digital Dimming, Emergency, DALI Emergency, Self-Test Emergency and OCTO Smart Control, Volo offers an alternative solution to a standard classic flat panel.

The Modular features dual direct and indirect output. Direct from the centre micro-prism central diffuser coupled with indirect output from the side diffuser sections. Providing the perfect combination for task and ambient lighting from one source.

Its high-performance optics provide high efficiency while still offering optimum glare control and comfort for task/office applications and features selectable CCT between 3000K and 4000K. Volo is also TP(a) as standard.

We always design our products to be adaptable. Which is why Volo can be surface or suspended (suspension kit supplied separately) giving the end user the option to decide depending on the environment.

Overall, the meeting room benefits from a vastly superior product. The Volo contributes to the company reaching our efficiency and productivity targets by providing high-performance lighting coupled with optimum glare control and comfort, creating a high-performance environment within the meeting space.
